Tacky glue
Tacky glue is the best all-purpose option for beginner paper flowers. It grips better than school glue, dries clearer, and gives you a little time to adjust petals.
Hot glue
Hot glue is fast and strong for large flowers, wall backdrops, and heavy centers. It can add bulk, so use small dots instead of thick lines.
Glue dots and tape runners
Glue dots are clean for small centers and party prep. Tape runners are quick for flat layers, but they may not hold curled petals under tension.
What to avoid
Very wet glue can warp thin paper. If the paper buckles, switch to thicker cardstock, use less glue, or hold the piece with clips while it dries.
